We’re back with another filming location for one of our favorite doramas: Yamada Taro Monogatari! This location is actually a park and quite far from Tokyo’s city center, but it’s lovely. Just take a look at this scene:

As JE’s avid fans, have you ever felt that Johnny’s ikemens are following you wherever you go, even when you’re not in Japan? It’s just an illusion, of course. But it’s fun! We’re super excited when we travel somewhere and suddenly see something that we can relate to Johnny’s. That’s why I made this post, Johnny’s Trivia Around The World. Let’s start with this one, Straße des 17.Juni or Street of 17th of June. Arashi’s fans might already get what I mean. Yes, 17th of June, it’s the birthday of Ninomiya Kazunari, yay! Nino, otanjobi omedetou!! So, did they made this street to celebrate Nino’s birthday? Or does Nino own this street? Where it is located? And what can we see there?

Most of filming location that we have visited are located far from the crowd and a bit hard to find, but not this one. You can go there without worry to get lost. Plus it became the location of many famous doramas and movies. Can you guess?
Nope, it’s not in Sapporo.
Having one Arashi’s member acts in a dorama is very common. But having two of them as the lead actors in one dorama is a luxury! That’s why Yamada Taro Monogatari is precious. Aired on TBS in summer 2007, this dorama had Arashi’s Ninomiya Kazunari as Yamada Taro and Sakurai Sho as Mimura Takuya.
There are many scenes and places which we found memorable. Remember when those two climbed the Tokyo’s Stairways to Heaven in Atago Shrine? This time, we’re gonna take you down the slope just like what Mimura-kun did when he was stalking Yamada-kun all the way home from school.

Back in 2010, Arashi stared together in Fuji TV ‘s drama SP titled “Saigo no Yakusoku”. Of course we had to visit their filming location for the “hill of promise” scene. The real one actually called Yuuhi no Oka (hill of sunset) which is located in Sakuragaoka Park, Tama, Tokyo. It’s pretty tricky to go to this location. After getting lost several times (as usual), here we are sharing the easiest way to get there.
Ada yang suka banget sama manga/dorama Bambino! seperti kami? Setelah berhasil nemu bangunan Baccanale Resto di Tokyo, gimana kalau suatu hari nanti kita main ke kampung halaman Ban Shogo di Fukuoka? Jalan-jalan sambil napak tilas beberapa tempat yang muncul di dorama dan menikmati makanan khas kota ini, yuk!
Tourists may not be familiar with the name of this place. We also didn’t know anything about it until we saw one of Himitsu no Arashi-chan episodes (TBS, aired 2011.04.28). Nino and Leader took the guest, Horikita Maki, to one bread shop in Setagaya.

For the sake of variety show, they had a quiz where they guessed the price of the served breads. Nino won the first question so he was able to eat the first bread, one of the most popular ones. And his reaction upon eating it has led us to this bread shop.
Sebagai penggemar Johnny’s, harus banget nyempetin mampir ke tempat satu ini. Karena disinilah tempat asik buat fangirling rame-rame.

Remember when our stoic Matsujun came to Tokyo for being an intern at one Italian restaurant? But then he was scolded by everyone (oh, I love those scenes). Remember the tempting pasta that they served? Yes, we are talking about the manga-adoption dorama in spring 2007 called Bambino!. This time, we’re gonna take you to Baccanale Trattoria and meet Ban Shogo.
