Today is August 10th which means: Snoopy’s birthday!! Such a nice timing to review Peanuts Hotel. The hotel was opened in 2018 and have been in my bucket list ever since!

The hotel is located in Kobe. There are only 18 rooms available so you better reserved in advance through their website. No worries, they have English website alongside the Japanese one. First you need to create your account. Then check the availability of the room you desire on your prefer date. Pay it by credit card and it’s confirmed once you receive confirmation email. I first chose room 46 because it’s among the cheapest one (30,000 yen exclude tax). But it seemed like the booking process was unsuccessful so I didn’t receive the confirmation email. Just realize it two weeks before my arrival. I sent email to the hotel just for double check and yes I haven’t booked the room and the room I wanted was sold out. Luckily, the next cheapest room (room 56) was still available. So I booked it.

Honestly, the room 56 décor wasn’t my taste. But since I only need the experience so it’s good enough for me. There are several stuffs you can bring home from the room like toiletries, towel, and door sign. Instead of room key, they use QR code for getting into elevator and the room.

The room was so small (only 14㎡) and very basic, which reminds me of business hotel.

There is only a shower room with no bath tub. Almost no Snoopy decoration in the bathroom which is quite disappointing.

Breakfast was included in the price (thanks God!). The dining area is located in third floor. When I got there, I was the first one so I could take photos freely. The breakfast was cute but taste so-so. Dining area is open for non-hotel guest also.

If I had to choose between Peanuts Hotel or Snoopy themed room at Imperial Hotel, I would definitely choose the latter one. I paid almost the same price but the room is so much larger and the service is better. Will I go back there? Hmm… I want to try their Special Room 61, so maybe yes.
